Since 1985, Basingstoke Counselling has been providing responsive, professional, and affordable counselling and counsellor training to people in the Basingstoke area. We are part of the Westminster Pastoral Foundation Network, the largest general counselling organisation in the UK, and as a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, we are bound by the framework for ethical practice, and appeals and complaints procedures.

Thinking about counselling?

In today's busy world it can be a relief to share personal distress and life's burdens with an impartial person who is able to hear and reflect upon what is being said. We can offer you regular weekly sessions with a counsellor who is trained to listen, support and help you find your own solutions to manage your problems.

Are you a natural listener who wants to understand more about how to help? Or someone who wants to develop their understanding of relationships in their private life or workplace? Do you want a career in counselling, or perhaps would just like to test the water to see if you have what it takes to be a counsellor? We run part-time courses with nationally recognised WPF awards which can help you with all these things.
